The physical part of it is only a part – you can use your time while renting to learn, get things set up & then you’ll be ready to be successful at this. Earthworm composting, distilling alcohol (for fuel), design & use composting toilet, design & build your rocket stove, plan your garden, buy seeds, identify livestock you want, just do it!

I think they are doing great! They are doing what they can to conserve. They never said, that they did without plastic or tv. They just mentioned that in some things they do without electricity, and the things like a blender we all could do without and use a manual one, we are just LAZY.

It all depends on how much your time is worth. I doubt anybody with a real career earning for example $90 an hour would resort to growing their own food.
Also when you do your own thing, the government can’t tax it. When the government runs out of money, it’d prohibit that lifestyle, no matter how green it is.
I see they use plastic. That’s not green. Plastic took energy to produce.
I believe the whole green thing is a fad that’ll fade eventually.
